The glorious journey of S.A.AANANDAN MILL LTD – a unit of S.A.ANANDAN GROUP began in the year 1997-98 and has since then achieved many milestones in producing high-class cotton, cotton-linen blends and cotton-hemp blended Yarns for both export and domestic markets.
At Rajapalayam , in South India, 132kms away from Tuticorin port, is one of India's best yarn producers S.A. Aanandan Mill Ltd spread over 7 acres of land, with most modern spinning facilities of 21,264 spindles and plans to double the capacity in near future. We venture into manufacture of innovative products like Linen, hemp/cotton blends in count range of 2s to 30s and multiple plied yarns till 10 PLYS in our newly installed jumbo twister machines.
In addition to the manufacturing business, our MD had to take up the mantle of Retail business in Chittoor after the demise of his father in 2007. We were formerly running one Textile showroom and now we have gone for expansion with three Textile Showrooms running in Chittoor that have established stern presence in Andhra. Now we have merged the retail division with our company S.A.AANANDAN MILL LIMITED from 2018 onwards.
Mr.A.ILAVARASU is the Chairman and Managing Director of S.A.ANANDAN GROUP. Hailing from a family of textile traders, in a remote village of Tamilnadu, he was educated in Chennai and completed his Masters in Management in Coimbatore, wholly by his willful determination to gain more knowledge and exposure. He is well-known in the textile field for his innovative approach and extraordinary thinking.
His smiling face, amicable nature, skillful communication, diligent hard work and positive approach have brought laurels to himself and the group. He has directed his energy with dedicated leadership taking business mission to new verticals by accelerating the business growth and building a stronger institution committed to deliver results.
S. A. Aanandan Mill has a manufacturing facility, of highly modernized and technically advanced machinery with 21264 spindleage. The whole plant is humidified with 6 Humidification Plants to maintain relevant Relative Humidity and is backed well by highly-skilled technocrats who have in-depth knowledge of the industry.With the state-of-the-art machinery the mill produces 3.50 million kilograms of yarn per annum.
At S. A. Aanandan Mill, periodic maintenance of machinery is carried out to prevent any problems in future. The management offers its operators proper training and technical know-how sessions about the various machineries in order to avoid any accidents or damages which may occur due to wrong operational practices.
